@LAGovJeffLandry@realDonaldTrump You're not even a little embarrassed by your ignorance, are you? Oh, that's right. You cater to the ignorant, especially the one holding the highest office in our nation. You even tagged him, proud of your stupidity. Remove your head from his smelly butt and get some oxygen!!
Donald Trump's lessons on Europe's decline are laughable. 🙂 He should sweep his own doorstep first.
Healthcare costs in the US are exorbitant, for very mediocre results. It's a huge scam. Life expectancy in the US is falling, even though it is already lower than in Europe. The health of the American population is catastrophic, including and especially among children, who suffer from chronic diseases much more than elsewhere.

The opioid crisis in the US is wreaking havoc, with a sharp acceleration since Trump's first term.

In the US, 42% of the population is obese, with an additional 31% overweight.

Americans eat anything and everything, worse than we do. More than 50% of their diet is ultra-processed, and even more so among children.

18% of Americans are depressed, and the trend is rising. Among young adults, the figure is 27%, twice as high as in 2017.

Economic growth in the US is mainly concentrated among the wealthiest. The middle and working classes are crushed by the cost of housing, healthcare, insurance (which is skyrocketing due to climate change), education, higher education, etc. ...
And this despite long working hours (e.g., very little paid leave). It's a huge scam.
The state is crippled by debt (with regular shutdowns), as are households: housing, education, cars, etc.
Infrastructure in the US suffers from underinvestment and is in a deplorable state.
The democratic crisis is even deeper there than in Europe (e.g., Trump's challenge to the 2020 election results, the invasion of the Capitol, Trump's pardon of the insurgents, including criminals guilty of violence against police officers). If the US were so prosperous, it would not elect someone like Trump... whose popularity rating is in free fall, particularly among low-income households, who are already disappointed.
It's all very well to boast about “the non-negotiable American way of life,” but it is, above all, completely unsustainable. The United States is particularly addicted to fossil fuels and growth. More than anywhere else, the country needs to overconsume in order to avoid collapse. Already at 2% growth per year, it is faltering; the day it drops to 1%, it's game over.
This list is obviously not exhaustive.
BREAKING: “F*cking disaster!” A Republican family is forced to close their 95-year-old business due to Trump’s tariffs!
In rural North Carolina, where support for Donald Trump once ran as deep as the grain in a hardwood beam, a generational Republican family is watching the legacy they built over 150 years collapse — all thanks to Trump’s catastrophic trade war.
Mackeys Ferry Sawmill, a 95-year-old hardwood mill run by the Jones family for generations, is now silent. Not paused. Not slowed. Dead. Fifty workers laid off. A third of their business revenue gone overnight. And according to co-owner Wilson Jones, the cause is simple: Trump’s tariffs nuked their entire industry.
“This is a f*cking disaster,” one family member told Bloomberg, and that might be the understatement of the century.
Here’s what happened: For decades, Mackeys Ferry relied on exports to China and Vietnam as U.S. demand for premium hardwood declined. By 2017, up to 80% of their product went overseas. Then Trump — in his trademark “I alone can fix it” bluster — unleashed his so-called “Liberation Day” tariffs. China retaliated with duties up to 125%, instantly making American hardwood impossible to sell.
Within weeks, the Jones brothers had to shut down the mill. One shipment worth $500,000 was literally on the water headed to China when Trump’s tariff hike hit — and the new duties were worth more than the lumber itself.
That wasn’t economic policy. That was a presidential demolition job.
And this wasn’t some liberal coastal company. This was deep-red rural America, the people Trump claims to champion. Wilson Jones voted for him — three times. His brother did too. Now Wilson says the decision feels “disgusting.”
“When I say ‘Liberation Day,’ I can’t put enough snark in my voice,” he said. “We weren’t liberated. It damn near liberated me from my business.”
By August, the mill was shuttered. By September, the last load of lumber came off the line. Only ten of the fifty workers found jobs at the family’s other mill, which is still somehow operating. The community — already struggling — will feel the loss for years.
And for what? A trade war that Trump promised would create a manufacturing boom. Instead, America shed 42,000 manufacturing jobs in just a few months.
The Jones family says changing consumer taste didn’t kill them — Trump did. His reckless tariffs. His ignorance of rural economies. His willingness to gamble with other people’s livelihoods for political theater.
When asked what he’d tell Trump today, Wilson didn’t hesitate: “You’re on a fool’s mission. You’re not helping a few. You’re hurting a lot.”
Rural America is finally waking up to the truth: Trump’s “America First” always meant America Last, and for some families, the damage is already irreparable.

@SecRubio You sold your soul, dude. You were one Republican I thought had morals. How's it feel to be Trump’s lackey, licking his shoes? It has to really suck, knowing this dumb ass is 5 cans short a six-pack. You should have played the long game, not this Tiddlywinks s**t.
@MinSwailes@DonaldTrumpnq Despite your irrational fear of the LGBTQ community, they're no more a danger than any other person. Ask the 22 Trump sexual assault victims who they'd trust. Definitely not Trump, who was best friends with a real pedophile. BTW, not all Trump’s victims were adults.
@gatewaypundit They were not subpoenaed. They were invited to give talks on rogue judges, which they declined. Not to mention, they've both followed the law. I know it's hard to distinguish what the law is when you currently have the most lawless President and Administration.
@LAGatorGal @jaketapper I'm guessing you haven't read Jake Tapper's book? It wasn't exactly flattering to Biden and those around him. Tapper's worth thousands of any of those Fox clowns.
