The forcible cremation of Gulzar Singh Ji’s body under heavy police deployment - and without the family’s consent - under the AAP regime in Punjab is deeply disturbing.

It is a chilling reminder of September 2020, when the Uttar Pradesh Police hastily cremated the body of the 19-year-old Dalit rape victim from Hathras in the dead of night, without her family’s presence or consent.

Denying a grieving family even the basic dignity of deciding how and when their loved one’s last rites are performed - or even the final chance to see their loved one - is an inhuman abuse of state power.

With this, the AAP has made one thing abundantly clear:

हर बार BJP सरकार का वही शर्मनाक पैटर्न - हादसों से पहले रोकथाम नहीं, उनके बाद बयानबाज़ी होती है, कुछ छोटे अफ़सरों पर ज़िम्मेदारी मढ़ दी जाती है, और असली गुनहगार जवाबदेही मुक्त रहते हैं।

सत्य निकेतन में छात्रों से भरी इमारत का गिरना कोई अकेली त्रासदी नहीं है। पिछले 4 महीनों में सैदुलाजाब में ऐसी त्रासदी में 6 लोगों की मौत हुई, हौज़ रानी में आग ने 22 जानें ले लीं। हर बार जिंदगियां, सपने और अरमान मलबे में दबते हैं - और हर बार कार्रवाई गायब रहती है।

और जवाबदेही मांगने पर प्रधानमंत्री खुद आपको “दिमागी नक्सल, नाराज़ फूफा” जैसे अपमानजनक तमगे दे देते हैं - मकसद, सवाल पूछने वालों को शर्मिंदा करो, बदनाम करो और चुप करा दो।

12 साल में ये सरकार दुनिया भर की बातें कर के आपको गोल-गोल घुमाती रही, लेकिन मुद्दे की बात नहीं की। दिल्ली में "ट्रिपल इंजन" सरकार है, तो अब किस बात से लाचार है?

लाचारी है नीयत की - क्योंकि जहां नीयत नहीं होती, वहां जवाबदेही भी नहीं होती।

This manipulated video is being made viral by BJP leaders and its IT Cell. If you watch the video closely, you can see that Congress MP @DeependerSHooda is actually guiding the paramedics towards another ambulance, and the person holding the stretcher is the ABVP DU President @Aryanmaan09.

The real, unedited video has been spliced and a clip of a Congress leader has been added later to create a fake narrative.
