Laughable and eye-roll inducing at the same time. Like everyone did a good job for what it was but award-winning...okay? And even if Nicola Coughlan is submitted for another show seems kind of backhanded to exclude her. Not that anything will come of it anyways
But S3 was the worst season ever? The circle jerk of haters spent two years saying S3 was flop. Sadly, even with numbers confirming haters are wrong S4 kind of put me off bridgerton. Bored. Not optimistic about the writers' ability to handle future plots.
Bridgerton Season 3 holds the record as the show’s longest run at #1 in the Global Top 10 — with 6 weeks on top, the most in its history, and 11 weeks overall on the chart.
Both Seasons 2 and 4 spent 4 weeks at #1.
I really hate that they’re basically saying Lady Whistledown is a plot device and not an actually integral part of the person that created her. And that just because she’s married now, Pen doesn’t need LW. Again, crazy thought but women can have jobs and be married with children
@burnerforgigs@esined_jk When S4 dropped S3 re-entered the global top 10 watch list. So common knowledge it's the worst season but everybody decided to rewatch it? And you can't say all seasons got the same boost since S2 wasn't on the top 10. Make it make sense.
More Marina discourse. Explain Marina's happy ending & how Penelope ruined it? It's not Colin. She wants George she can't have him. Not Pen's fault. If she marries C, A learns about the kids they get cut off. With Phillip at least kids have George's name and his family's land.
Ideally we shouldn't talk about Nicola Coughlan or any celebs weight. But stating in an interview how you don't like the attention on your weight, posting defensive comments about weight... is you guessed it going to get people talking about your weight. Girl put the phone down.
Article noted these years were busiest for Nicola Coughlan career. So why start off with her relationship? Talking about a man & condoning press about it? Girl, get up. If you're trying to convince non-believers you'll always fail. People who are here for the career don't care
Hey so where's the crowd celebrating the return of historically accurate makeup and styling to Bridgerton? Because bedazzlers and sequins everywhere, plus acrylics, lashes, and all those colors. At least in S3 the makeup didn't look so washed out.
Pretty sure people watch Bridgeton with their brains off. Colin confronted Portia in defense of Penelope. No raised voice, not in her face. Benedict got in Violet's face, insulting her personal actions in retaliation for her trying to protect Sophie. The difference is obvious.
Polin yesterday, Kanthony today. You know what I haven't seen? Odd to not post a preview clip with the S4 leads. Unless it was posted & it's just making that little waves. All I saw was a lockscreen. Bit forced really, more so if you have to specifically bring attention to it
Normally I think Jack Lowden is gorgeous. This teaser is not doing him justice. And can we not force the hand thing? In 2005 P&P, it was an 𝑜𝑟𝑔𝑎𝑛𝑖𝑐 scene that became iconic as opposed to a scene they went out of a way to highlight in a tease.
People say Whistledown isn’t integral to the story but if they actually have Penelope handing it off to someone else, it’s literally just proof that they need WD to keep the story going forward because clearly they don’t know what to do without the Whistledown element
