Merit means: People who can do the best jobs should be hired.

They can be from Reserved/Unreserved category. It doesn't matter to me.

On the other side : If you are expecting me to go with a system where a person getting 30% can get a college seat over a person who scores 90%: that system does not reward merit. And, it can't be called a meritocracy.

You either live in a meritocracy or you're not.

People have an agenda to run to fight and die for reservation for the next 200 years.

I am confident that sensible people: who can work hard, can build a lot of their own luck. And, move out.

Freeloaders, don't be dumb. And, get a life.
