@DJCEEB_ On a mac, make alias folders for each folder of music you have a crate in sdj for, and put the alias folders into sdj's auto import folder. Doesn't work for sub-crates, but you can use smart crates in sdj for that.

Every new gen of DJs have it 'easier by doing less' according to the last gen. I've seen DJs been laughed at when they brought CDs to festivals. Same with controllers USB Sync streaming etc. Its now so easy that you must dance as the gimmick. Nothing new

@NoShadowJab I did my first beat juggle (basic looping) on 2 playstations without a mixer and started scratching on a friends belt driven tt on the floor of his lounge, again with no mixer. Also made my first recorded mix on a desktop pc only. Gear just made it easier but much later
