#Sapphire is used in the making of watch and phone crystals.

A sapphire "seed" is placed in a crucible along with materials that will, when heated, use the sapphire seed to structure into a giant block of sapphire.

After, the block is cut and polished into crystals!

So what is a Sapphire?

Corundum! Also called aluminum oxide, also known as Al2 O3. Naturally transparent, corundum comes in all colors. Almost all of those colors are sapphires, except for shades of red. Those are the July #birthstone, ruby!
