When I first announced that I’d be heading to Bintan Island, Indonesia, for a special two-day resort experience with the RedotsClub team, I was looking forward to the experience, the getaway and the opportunity to connect with other members of the community.
But looking back, one of the best parts of the experience wasn’t just the beautiful location or the activities. It was the people I got to meet and also lead as a Team Leader (Team Rise)
I’m genuinely grateful for the new friendships, the shared moments and the opportunity to cross paths with such amazing people from different continents.
@RedotsClub gave us the memories, but the people made it more special ❤️.
Little highlight from Day 1 at Token2049 with @InsideDHive.
Met OG builder @Sage_Tega and @Jaggo001 right in there. Still got a few more late night event to wrap up the day with.
Day 1 in Singapore and I met some legends on CT.
Had to show up at 7 events and believe me, my body and soul is tired asf.
Excited for the next few days of Token2049 in this beautiful city.

If you’ve been in this space for a while or you’re new, you must have heard the term “NFTs”. The entire web3 space is filled with terminologies like this and at the hive we’re dedicated to making sure you know what they mean.
Let’s take a deep dive into the world of NFTs!
NFTs short for “non-fungible tokens” have been in the news quite often over the last few years, frequently mentioned in headlines linking them to improbably large sums of money.
The buying and selling of NFTs has become big business in just a short period of time.
What is an NFT? NFT stands for “non-fungible token” but what does that mean, exactly? NFTs are unique blockchain-based assets that can represent ownership or a specific piece of information.
Unlike fungible tokens such as $AVAX or USDT, where one unit is inter-changeable with another, each NFT has its own identity and properties.
NFT serves as a certificate of ownership and allows you to stake your claim on a specific item existing on- or off-line and present proof of this claim when needed. If you want to transfer ownership of the item, you can sell your NFT to another party and because you’re basically trading tokens, the process is extremely simple.
NFTs are still considered to be new, with a possibility that the future will present new innovations in the design and usage of NFTs.
NFTs are already available in a wide range of types, created for a specific purpose or multiple.
Digital art
Digital art can be almost any kind of image that appears on your computer screen, from a simple avatar to an abstract collage of colors.
In-game items
With NFTs, in-game items can have a life outside the confines of the game itself. Gamers can store data on NFTs to ensure that their hard-won trophies stay around even if the game itself doesn’t.
Tickets to live events
NFT tickets are already widely available, some observers believe that NFT technology may even be able to curtail scalping.
Collateralized loans, video clips, music and Internet memes too.
There are and can be multiple kinds of NFTs, making NFTs useful for representing digital art, collectibles, usernames, in-game items, certificates, memberships and other very unique assets.

NFT minting is simply the process of creating a non-fungible token on a blockchain.
NFT minting isn’t limited exclusively to the top chads/artists, which simply means you can mint NFTs and for a wide range of use cases (Utility).
Web3 projects use NFTs in many ways, raise funds.. users pay to mint their own NFT as part of a collection, to increase brand awareness and to create loyalty from their users.
You can mint NFTs using a minting platform like @Opensea or @MagicEden and each platform and marketplace has its own practices and rules regarding NFT minting and listing, so choosing the right platform could involve a little research.
