One year ago, innocent ABU Zaria hausa wedding travelers were murdered in Mangu, by Mangu Christian terrorists, not for a crime, but for asking directions.
Watching this video from Zamfara, one question keeps coming to mind; where are these bandits getting fuel for more than 100 motorcycles?
Fuel doesn't appear in the forest. Someone has to supply it. As long as criminal groups have access to fuel, intelligence, food and logistics, insecurity will remain difficult to defeat Nigeria.
At the same time, seeing such a large convoy move openly raises serious questions about surveillance and response capabilities. Tackling banditry requires both strong security operations and cutting off the networks that sustain it.
BREAKING: Hajiya Asia El-Rufai, the second wife of former Kaduna State Governor Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, has alleged that she and Aishatou El-Rufai, his last wife, are being followed and placed under surveillance.
In a facebook post, Asia said their phones had been bugged and warned that their lives were in danger.
She added that the government should be held responsible if anything happens to them.
Another morning to remind you all that Nusaiba sent her daughter to St. Lious secondary school to get quality education but instead they returned a dead child to her and instead of given true accounts of what lead to her being killed they’ve lawyered up.
BREAKING: Yesterday evening, residents of Soba town in Mashegu LGA of Niger State said Lakurawa members entered the community after Maghrib prayers and moved between local mosques, gathering worshippers to preach their ideology and explain their mission.
The development has raised fresh concerns about the group's growing influence and freedom of movement in parts of the region.
If armed groups can openly hold outreach sessions in communities, what does that say about the effectiveness of security efforts and state presence in these areas?

This is not a rant by a random genocidal lunatic. It's a public post by the national security minister of the Israeli regime.
The genocidal death cult headquartered in Tel Aviv is a threat to all of humanity. It threatens all humans. Its only interest is permanent war.
All the students who came forward as eye witness have been expelled. Over twenty of them. Other parents are keeping quiet. It’s Nihal today it can be your child tomorrow.

SAD NEWS: Ibrahim Abubakar was reportedly killed along Birnin Gwari road in Kaduna State, another painful loss amid the ongoing insecurity affecting local communities in northern Nigeria. May Allah grant him eternal mercy, forgive his shortcomings and accept him among the martyrs.
For how much longer will families continue to bury their loved ones before this violence finally comes to an end?
The death of young Nihal Usaman Shamaki at St. Louis Secondary School, Kano, is deeply disturbing and raises serious questions that must not be ignored.
According to the account given by her family, the school claimed that Nihal was punished for allegedly being late to prayer and was made to kneel down. It is further alleged that she was left unattended for hours before she was eventually found dead. Even more troubling are reports that family members who rushed to the school after receiving the devastating news were denied access to where their daughter was.
We are calling on the Kano State Government His Excellency Abba Kabir Yusuf @Kyusufabba, relevant education authorities, and all security agencies to immediately launch a thorough, transparent, and independent investigation into the circumstances surrounding Nihal's death.
Her family deserves answers. The public deserves the truth. Most importantly, Nihal deserves justice.
Until a full investigation is conducted and all the facts are established, we believe it is necessary for the school to be temporarily closed to ensure that evidence is preserved and that there is no interference with the investigative process.
No parent should send a child to school and receive news of their death under unclear circumstances. We stand with Nihal's family in their quest for justice and accountability..
@KanoChronicle
As a father of 3, 1 boy & 2 girls, I was devastated to receive the shocking news of the death of 14yr old Nihal (the daughter of @n_dansharif) due to bullying in her school, St Louis Secondary School. Watching her mother narrative the story really broke me. Justice must be done!
This is Maradun Local Government, the home local government of the Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle. The area has reportedly become a marketplace where people come to buy illegally mined mineral resources sourced by bandits, while many residents have been forced to flee their homes due to insecurity.
The communities have been displaced, and normal life has become unbearable for those who once lived there.

**If you are kidnapped in Nigeria, you are completely on your own. No security agency will save you.
"My nephew was kidnapped while I was SA to Vice President Shettima. I knocked on every door, entered every office, and gave them the exact coordinates of the location. They promised to help but couldn't. We spent ₦175 Million, including ransom, before he was released after 36 days in captivity. The security agencies couldn't help." - Dr. Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, brother to Datti Baba-Ahmed
