FANTASY TOP | MONAD MT2
-------------------------------
Now that we're one tournament in, all new heroes, including the @monad_xyz heroes, have been indexed, giving players a clear view of hero performance.
This is the first weekly post breaking down everything you need to prepare for the tournament on Monday. Make sure to bookmark. 🫡
This post focuses on all the heroes that aren’t part of the core @fantasy_top_ game on @blast. For insights on those heroes, check out my weekly article, which I pinned to my account.
Lets dive into it 🔢
Who are Top Heroes?
-----------
Grail Card
-----------
In the first tournament, there were many standout performances. To start off, it's fair to say the Grail card among the new heroes is the @monad_xyz card.
The Monad card scored 876 points and was the only new hero in the Top 10. If you're a new player, this is definitely a card worth holding onto. As an 8-star card, it might be challenging to place it in the Bronze or Silver League, where the total star cap is 18 and 23, respectively. It could be worth considering the Gold or Elite League instead.
Last Tournament:
Avg View: 1m | Followers: 842k | E/F Ratio: 4.75
E / F = Engagement to Follower
--------
Virality
--------
@internbrah was the only one to post a banger in the previous tournament—one of his posts hit ~800k views, earning him 800+ points and a Top 20 finish.
As a 7-star for next week’s tournament, he’s a strong consideration. If he gets into the habit of posting bangers regularly, he could be a great card to hold. One to keep an eye out on.
Last Tournament:
Avg Views: 91.6k | Followers: 733k | E/F Ratio: 49.6
--------------
Consistency
--------------
Three heroes stand out from the new heroes that I think are very good low variance options. They will continue scoring consistently as are pretty active on the TL.
This includes @stevenyuntcap, @howdymerry and @zayn4pf.
One thing you shouldn’t do is rely solely on how a hero performed in the previous tournament. The good thing about the three heroes above is that while they all did well in the first tournament, they’re also scoring well on the day-to-day 24 chart.
What is the 24hr chart?
The 24hr chart shows you how a hero scores on a daily basis. To check this, click on a hero’s profile, then click the arrow next to their score and select the 24hr chart.
➝ Zayn is consistently in the 700-point range.
➝ Steven has hit 800+ on some days but stays around 600 on average.
➝ Mary is also in the 700-800 range.
🔢Lets look at the stats in the last tournament:
Mary⤵️
Avg Views: 10.3k | Followers: 10.3k | E/F Ratio: 15
Zayn⤵️
Avg Views: 11.6k | Followers: 14k | E/F Ratio: 23.3
Steven⤵️
Avg Views: 19.7k | Followers: 14.5k | E/F Ratio: 21.7
Of the three heroes, Steven and Mary are now 6-star heroes, making it easier to fit them into your Bronze, Silver, or Gold decks, as those leagues have a total star cap.
--------------
Middle Pack
--------------
The middle pack are heroes you might see consistently rating between 5-6 stars.
🔸Leading this, @0xGrimjow is a hero to consider. He ranked 54th in the last tournament, scoring 600+ points, which is very solid. His 24hr chart ranges between 400-700, showing somewhat consistent engagement.
🔸Meanwhile, @blancxbt is another strong option at 6-star. His 24hr chart looked solid up until the weekend, and with his Top 50 performance in the last tournament, he's definitely a considerable pick.
----------
Potential
----------
The Following heroes have shown a few signs they have solid potential to well during tournaments:
🔸@keoneHD and @_jhunsaker, both co-founders of Monad, get solid engagement on their posts:
➝ Keone has around ~60k followers and averages 10k+ views per post. He did more quoting in the last tournament, which might have slightly lowered his score, but overall, he’s a great hero to hold.
➝ Meanwhile, James (@_jhunsaker) has fewer followers but benefits from a strong E/F ratio. He also posted 4 times more than Keone in the last tournament scoring 500 points and is only a 4-star for next week, making him an interesting option.
🔸@KinglouiEth had a strong first tournament, surpassing 100k views, with a solid video that crossed 15k views. If he can hit one of those each tournament while maintaining posting frequency, he’s set up to be a solid hero in the middle pack.
🔸@0xRacist is a popular pick among the new heroes and definitely has the potential to score higher than his 7-day rank suggests. His regular posts easily get around 2k-5k views, scoring roughly 300 points based on the 24hr chart. He’ll need a few more like his post on Wednesday, which hit ~100k views, though it came too late to boost his Fantasy Top score enough for the tournament.
-----------------
3-4 Star heroes
-----------------
🔸 In the 3-4 star range, @_gvan is a solid option with a ceiling around 600 points and an average closer to 400-450 points. He could be a good rare pick to place in the Gold League when paired with high-star common cards.
🔸@710_eth, at 4-star, presents a great opportunity. With around 6k followers, he only needs one post to take off. As one of the spearheads of @fantasy_top_, he’s been a big part of its success. Combine that with his mix of shitposting and articles, and he has the potential to perform very well. The E/F ratio also works in his favour.
🔸@JohnWRichKid is an interesting card, one you can expect to score in the 200-300 point range. His high follower count ultimately puts him at a disadvantage, as the Fantasy scoring algo factors in the engagement-to-follower ratio [1.5].
For example John had 200k+ views, double Kingloui, however Kingloui has a better E / F Ratio.
🔸 @billmondays was someone I expected to perform better in the tournament, but we’re still only one tournament in. At 3-star, he still has potential. The 24hr chart seems to cap around 600 points, which isn’t bad for a 3-star. Definitely worth considering if you're looking for options for your Silver or Bronze deck.
--------------
The HK Card
--------------
Had a tough start last week as a hero. Day 1 went well—I scored ~600 points and ranked in the Top 60.
Since the Fantasy Top algorithm factors in average views and I post quite a bit, my score naturally trends down until I hit another banger.
That said, I’ll be active once again—if you hold my card, let’s run the numbers up! 🫡
