@GaryErwin_Mocs 1953 at Warner Park a historical event as Rev. Billy Graham wouldn’t preach there unless it was an integrated crowd between blacks and whites. Ushers tried to enforce a segregated crowd but he personally cut the ropes himself and had the ushers removed. Love him &miss him❤️
Charlie Kirk’s assassin Tyler Robinson, 22, killed him because he hated his opinions and thought he was a fascist. Yet ironically, HE was the fascist, killing someone to silence their opposing views.
The woke left love to say ‘speech is violent.’
It’s not - violence is.
@CoachFrankReed YES…AGREE…PERIOD!!! I teach my kids this. However…I’m positive this type of kindness wasn’t always reciprocated. However…I teach my kids to still do this even if it’s not reciprocated.
@nppsd Congratulations to all but to Tiffany Johnson…Thank you for always being that teacher that sees a kid all the way through even in college. @abbyorr11gmail and the Orr family appreciates you🥰🤗🙏
“With so many athletes in the portal… are these programs toxic?”
— A parent
As a former DI Coach, I was fired for making pitchers run extra (I believe they should be the most in-shape athletes on the field)…
and for asking a bullpen catcher to move her tutoring session because she scheduled it during the bullpen—on purpose.
Parents complained until I was gone.
Meanwhile, those 2 years were the most successful the program had seen in 20+ years.
This was the two years after being mentored by Ralph & Karen Weekly at Tennessee…
& going to the WCWS with them in 2015.
Now? I’m on the travel ball side—and I’m even tougher on the kids.
They LOVE it—because they see real growth.
Many show up with zero offers… and leave with DI opportunities.
So when my college coaching friends go through this now, I feel for them.
I’ve been there.
So is it really a toxic environment?
Or are parents just not at practice…
and taking the word of an 18-year-old who just left home for the first time?
**There may be some toxic environments but I do not think ALL of these situations are toxic.
