sunoo himself confirmed this story is real and i’m crying all over again reading it 😭 he saved someone’s life without him knowing 🥹🤍

“about two years ago, a lot of really hard things happened at once and it was a day when i even thought about ending my life. it was pouring rain and i was just standing there blankly on the street. around 2 am, i was in the middle of the road crying for about ten minutes. there was a car coming up behind me, but because of the rain i couldn’t hear it and didn’t notice at all. then suddenly someone got out of the car. i heard movement and quickly turned around, but my vision was blurry and i had no strength in my body. it was late autumn and i had been drenched in the rain, so i was freezing.

when our eyes met, he seemed a little startled by the way i looked. he put the umbrella he was holding into my hands and said, “use this and go home quickly. you’ll catch a cold.” after saying just that, he went back to his car.

even though i wanted to die at that moment, i thought at least i should see his face. so i forced my voice out and called, “excuse me, who are you?”
he replied, “no, it’s okay. please go inside quickly,” and smiled brightly.

i rubbed my sore eyes and tried hard to focus to see his face clearly… and it was enhypen’s sunoo. i had never met him before, but he was worrying about me so much.

of course i knew he was from enhypen, but i didn’t know his name, so the next day i looked through each member’s face to find him.

i still have the green umbrella he gave me at home. maybe it was just one that happened to be lying in his car and he took it out because someone was standing in the rain at dawn… but when i received that umbrella, i hugged it tightly and cried all the way home.

i’m truly thankful because that moment helped shape the person i am today.”
