Military council seal off MP's house and Gold shop in Myawaddy
The house of U Thant Zin Aung, Member of Parliament for NLD Party in Myawaddy,Kayin State, was sealed-off & confiscated by Coup Council on April 4.

Cherry Htet, the former bodyguard of Myanmar’s ousted leader Aung San Suu Kyi, was sentenced to an additional 2 years in prison by the country’s ruling military junta on charges of “incitement,” adding to her 3 year sentence over social posts where she supported Aung San Suu Kyi
SAGAING —Han Zar Myay Mon, a protest leader from Chaung U township, was sentenced to two years in prison by a military court in Monywa Prison under Sec. 505(a) on March 30. A family member told DVB that he faced a further four charges. Han Zar Myay Mon was arrested in June 2021.
Over 200,000 civilians are now displaced by more than a year of fighting in Karenni State, and due to the military’s bombing of IDP camps. They are also urgently in need of food and drinking water.
