South Carolina has officially fired offensive coordinator Mike Shula, ending a disastrous run leading the Gamecock offense.

The numbers tell the story.

2025 Offensive Stats under Shula:
• 19.7 points per game — worst since 2002
• 294 total yards per game — bottom 10 nationally
• 34 sacks allowed — couldn’t protect the QB
• 32.5% on third down — drive killer after drive killer

This move comes after a 3–6 start (1–6 in the SEC) and weeks of frustration from the fanbase. South Carolina’s offense never found rhythm, creativity, or consistency, and now, it’s time for a change.
