Had a great chat with General Goodwin today learning about the Indiana War Memorials, the museum and mutual interests in public safety issues.

I learned they host 350 events a year with over 1M participants. This highlights the number of visitors we have DT every year.

It was 27 degrees outside and what did I decide to do? Go for a bike ride. And I’m glad a did. Fun afternoon with members of our community.

Cmdr Foley and our bike unit joined the Central Indiana Bicycling Association, @HbD_IN, @IndyMPO, and @INCulturalTrail staff for a discussion of bicyclist safety and then took a ride on the Cultural Trail today. @BikeIndpls

Capt Foley visited @IPSMerleSidener today to read a book to 1st graders and answer questions they had. They had a LOT of questions.

At the beginning 3 said they wanted to be police officers. 👮‍♀️ 👮 At the end, most of them wanted to be police officers…only 15 years to go.
