i expected it to be very similar to adults (which i also love) but this one is much less insane. ig its barely even a sitcom? idk what really counts but it feels a little more like a lighthearted drama than full sitcom
wait not suitable for work is actually so lovely. its a sitcom but actually pretty grounded in reality and i can really root for all the characters right off the bat. also ep1 features a “ruth bader twinsburg” couple costume throwaway gag so there’s that
i try to be very conscious of my behavior as a cis woman that primarily reads mlm romance but at a certain point i just have to accept the fact that a lot of people are always going to think i’m a bad person for doing that
people who cant make that separation between fiction and reality have created this image of us objectifying and harassing men and i just have to do my part in calling them out when i see it but i’ll always be seen as unwoke no matter what. idk what my point is just thinking
like ok sure the woman at the club is called a female and the mom is a slut who cheats on her husband and gets plastic surgery like whatever. this might become a dnf
one thing i gotta give rachel her 7’s on is her ability to actually write good female characters without being misogynistic towards them bc wow im reading another hockey romance rn written by a woman and she keeps making subtle digs at literally every woman that appears
@uturntorn@doxie_gay i’ve seen a lot of not smart people doing it but have also been the instacart person that has to send these replacement messages when the solution is mind numbingly obvious and i know its annoying the customer just to comply with the app’s procedure
