lots of points being made about the rivalry, but as a hockey fan, I also read this as a cap space issue. I feel like it’s inferred that even with Ilya, Troy, & Wyatt, Ottawa has more money to play with than Montreal. Ottawa’s years of losing = smaller overall contracts. (1/?)
