Hey, new to 𝕏 and realised I never said hi 👋

I'm Shan, based in London. Founding engineer at @parsewise (YC P25), building AI for insurance. Survived 6 years at Microsoft.

Bullish on AI, and also wondering where it's all heading.

In London and building something? Say hi.

London builders, let's connect 🙏

Especially if you're:

- Building with AI agents 🤖
- Shipping side projects 🛠️
- A founder or engineer 🚀
- Into maps, trains or cities 🚇
- Up for a coffee sometime ☕

I'll get back to everyone ;)

Made this a while ago inspired by MapFRAPPE, but annoyingly only satellite mode works nowadays: https://t.co/kPrgtAp64Z

Will get around to fixing it soon

Beautiful buildings instil a sense of pride in your community. Shown to reduce crime, vandalism, improve community

[Samuel Hughes @SCP_Hughes]

Putting a facade on a prefab concrete block in the former east Berlin. The underlying structure is unaltered; instead, the architects have:

- Given it a coat of plaster;
- Painted it in varying colours;
- Broken up the massing with some clever tricks to the window and roofline detailing.

Look closely: the floor height remains continuous and the windows are all in the same places as before. The effect of spontaneity and variety is created by using ornament create patterns of group and emphasis.
