I am so tired of people mocking POTS, EDS and MCAS like they are all some little TikTok trend.
Who in their right mind would want to pretend to have an illness for clout?
We don’t want attention.
We want answers.
We want support.
But instead of support we get headlines and tweets calling us “crazy”, “fakers”, or “over-diagnosed.”
There is real diagnostic criteria. Real specialist. Real science. Just because you don’t understand it doesn’t make it fake.
And let’s not pretend this hasn’t happened before.
Lupus? “All in your head”
Multiple sclerosis? Once called “hysterical paralysis.”
Each labeled as fake and psychological until science caught up. Until doctors started to actually believe patients.
This isn’t a trend. It’s an epidemic of ignored patients, medical gaslighting and now public ridicule.
News flash to all of you clowns.
More are being diagnosed because COVID has triggered dysautonomia and immune dysfunction in thousands.
Because awareness is growing.
Because patients are no longer staying quiet.
We are building communities. We are fighting. We’re demanding answers and idiots like you us for that.
Every time you roll your eyes at someone using a mobility aid, or say “oh that again?” when someone mentions their chronic illness, all you’re doing is setting us back and showing why so many of us went undiagnosed for so many years.
You think you’re invincible until it’s you on X, on Reddit, on Google, searching for answers because you wake up every day feeling sick.
You’re tired of hearing about chronic illness?
Imagine how tired we are of living with it.
@Chime I adore @Chime because it allows single parent like myself on disability to access my pay earlier if I need! $Shannon-Thompson-177 #WhyIChime 🌳💚
@cvspharmacy I need to discuss something *urgently *regarding a prescription I've held for 10 years and the way it is being handled. I'd rather not post screenshots publicly yet until I've received a reply. Thank you!

@DrRebeccaRyan I have POTS, EDS, nutcracker syndrome, pelvic congestion syndrome and May-Thurner syndrome. I'm 41, 5'8 and weigh 88lbs due to diarrhea constantly and my stool studies show all fat. No dr at all has helped fix it!
@Citibank Is there ANYONE who can actually HELP with authorization lifts days after the transaction has cleared and posted?! I've contacted both merchants who said my banking institution should see the posted payments and lift authorization, yet I'm told TEN DAYS by customer svc?
@Citibank these are two of the exact same charges correct? One is posted and one is pending, yet I only made ONE purchase of that exact amount? How did the transaction post yet still be under authorization?
To all of you who DM'd me regarding issues with @Citibank , PLEASE let's start a group chat as this is almost unethical to play this hamster wheel game with ANY customers' potential or current!!!!
@Citibank after being on the phone with your agent it appears you pull the wool over eyes. You allowed a DENIED overdraft account you pull hard credit for to overdraft THEN TELL ME that "things slip through" and that your agents "ARENT supposed to disclose that to us!"
@VaroBank I fell for this, moved my direct deposit from SSDI and now it's not showing on varos end and I cannot even access zelle. The customer service is awful. Be careful and research so much as now i don't know what to do.
@VaroBank I have been trying for 2 weeks to PROVE I moved my monthly direct deposit over to Varo and I have gotten NOWHERE. I'm incredibly upset as I can't even access zelle and NONE of the agents will tell me how to upload proof only "add cash" . I'm DISABLED,it's nit that easy!
