@summywins This is how my oldest has always been about cellos! When she was 2 she used to hear a song playing and stop and say, "Cello!" and I would listen closer, and sure enough, there would be a cello playing. Someday I hope we can afford the chance for her to play.

@beingcindy I don't have as much problem when it's things like, "order mugs of this artwork your child made," but this? She said she's "photocopied them" for kids who didn't buy them so they have something for everyone to sign as well. Might as well put labels on the poor kids.

@bradfordlit Oh man, I had climbers/jumpers too. My 7yo still tries to give me heart attacks with the things she climbs. I'm pretty sure it's payback for when my mom caught me 35-ft up a tree when I was 3. I'd had the neighbor's 5yo give me a boost to the lowest branch.

@TheRippedBodice @courtneymilan He was quite happy to share his opinion on them with me, too, but it was that they were well-written, uplifting reads that were focused on people and relationships and happy endings, and that the world needed more of that. I'm glad he raised my husband.

@TheRippedBodice @courtneymilan I knew I was marrying well when I looked at my in-laws' shelves and among all the classics and educational tomes from my FIL's PhD, I found a full bookcase of Regency romances. I asked my MIL if they were hers, and she said, "No, those are Mike's. My shelf of them is in my room."
