@saeedtaji Also interesting that you say ‘British’ in particular- I’d also recommend seeking out shows that are representative of global stories or even those that subvert western storytelling tropes. Usually it avoids the long monologue style so prevalent in traditional ‘British’ theatre

@saeedtaji Agreed. I’d recommend seeking out off west-end shows or even theatre for young people-often the content is far more nuanced & interesting because we’re deliberately trying to ensure we don’t talk down to children. Adult theatre can feel like being hit over head with a pan
