LIC held a total exposure of approximately ₹36,475 crore ($4.47 billion) in Adani Group companies when the Hindenburg Research report was released in January 2023.
LIC has a total exposure of 10.8% in this Rajesh Exports too.
Clearly, LIC has become a cash cow for firms which have dubious accounting practices.
BTW the money LIC plays around with is janta ka paisa through insurance policies.
