Report from @G1Global - The U.S.–Japan alliance must become more than a security pact. It must become a systems alliance—connecting AI, semiconductors, energy, industrial capacity, logistics, trusted data, and shared deterrence.

China spent the last decade building integrated systems across AI, manufacturing, energy, logistics, and critical minerals. The U.S. too often still thinks transactionally.

China’s priorities are clear: keep Gulf oil flowing, avoid instability, and maintain trade with all sides. If Iran stabilizes, the U.S. can focus more on the Western Pacific—and Beijing will be studying U.S. military performance closely.
If Venezuela and Iran weaken, China also loses two useful but ultimately transactional partners.
