I requested a cancellation and refund because the agreed delivery timeline wasn't honored. Instead of resolving that request, the conversation keeps circling back to why I should accommodate a new schedule. That's not how accountability works.
Absolutely appalled by @WoodenStreet's customer service.
I specifically requested weekend delivery because I’m unavailable on weekdays. After keeping me waiting for almost a week and repeatedly assuring me that the delivery would happen over the weekend, 1/n
I’m now being told to adjust to a weekday delivery instead.
What's worse, even after requesting a cancellation and refund due to their inability to honor their commitment, they continue trying to force the delivery schedule according to their convenience rather than 2/n
If a commitment can't be met, say so honestly. Don't keep customers waiting, following up, rearranging plans, and hoping the next promise will finally be the one that's kept. @wooden_street
The most frustrating part isn't the delay itself. It's feeling like nobody is actually listening. Every concern gets acknowledged, but nothing gets resolved.
I planned my weekend around this delivery because that's the timeline I was given. The least a company can do is respect the time commitments it asks customers to make.
Every call ends with another assurance. Every assurance ends with another delay. At some point, promises stop being promises and start becoming excuses.
The irony is that delivering furniture is literally your core business. If customers can't rely on delivery commitments, what exactly are they supposed to rely on?
A delivery delay can happen. Logistics issues happen. What customers expect is transparency, accountability, and a genuine effort to fix the situation. So far, I've seen none of those.
What baffles me is that nobody at @WoodenStreet seems empowered to actually solve a problem. Every interaction feels like talking to a script rather than a customer service team that can take ownership and make decisions.
The issue is no longer just the delay—it's the complete lack of ownership. A simple "we'll figure this out" would have gone a long way. Instead, the burden of adjusting schedules, following up, and finding solutions seems to have been placed entirely on.
And despite this being a delivery within Bangalore, nobody seems interested in finding a solution. I even suggested arranging an alternative mode of transport to complete the delivery as promised, but all I get are excuses and evasive responses instead of action.
resolving the issue.
I genuinely don't understand how a business can operate this way—making commitments, failing to meet them, and then expecting customers to rearrange their lives around broken promises. Extremely disappointing experience.
