i used to think heaven was a place people longed for bcos it promised light. now i know some of us longed for it bcos we have already memorized the road that leads to the death
this was actually a book the bookstore wrongfully sent me along with the other books i ordered AND I FEEL LIKE IT WAS MEANT TO BE SENT TO ME BCOS I WAS MEANT TO READ THIS and if it wasnt sent to me i wouldnt have known about this book frrrr
grabe naman this book i’m currently reading. I’M DEVASTATED. this is by far the slowest i’ve been for a 100-page book bcos every page puts me in an emotional time out
Women lose sexual interest when they're emotionally disappointed, and I’m not going to argue about that. A woman can love you deeply, stay loyal, support you through hard times, and still slowly disconnect the moment she feels unheard, unappreciated, or emotionally neglected. Most people think attraction disappears because of looks, time, or routine, but emotional disappointment is what quietly changes everything.
once you cut people out of your life, you need to become very comfortable with them talking bad and making things up about you. bc they will fill your silence and your absence with stories that make them feel better about losing access to you. people rarely take accountability when it’s easier to paint you as the villain.
“sometimes i think thats why we were so drawn to each other. bcos he’s used to being the steadfast big brother and i’m used to being the annoying little sister. it’s a dynamic we understand: i lovingly tease him; he makes the entire world feel safer for me”
the only way anybody can hurt me is by making me think highly of them and then they go on and do something so low standard, low character that it proves that the cool person i thought i knew, never existed in fact. you literally hurt me by being pathetic and betraying your own potential.
You don't always need words to understand your place in someone's life. Sometimes, the answer is hidden in what they don't do, the conversations they try to avoid, the distance they never make an effort to close and the silence they let grow without concern. Little by little, you start to realise that when someone truly values your presence, they don't watch things fall apart without trying. Because people make time, effort and space for what genuinely matters to them.
