What if a nation chose courage over fear?
During the Holocaust, Albanians from all walks of life risked everything to protect Jewish families, guided by the sacred code of Besa.
A reminder that in our darkest moments, humanity matters most.

Peace begins with education.
In a powerful conversation, @ImamOfPeace confronts a critical barrier to regional coexistence: Holocaust denial and distortion. Growing up in Iran, he speaks openly about the biased narratives he was taught about Jewish people.
But history became an undeniable reality when he joined Sharaka's 2026 delegation to March of the Living, witnessing the horrors of the Holocaust firsthand.
We cannot build a shared future on a distorted past. Overcoming Holocaust distortion and denial requires comprehensive Holocaust education across our region. True peace take the courage to unlearn division, face the truth, and use the lessons of history to build a bridge for tolerance.

Lois Gunden risked her life to save Jewish children during the Holocaust.
In France, she opened a home to protect children who had lost everything, even telling the Nazis they were war orphans.
She was later recognized as Righteous Among the Nations in 1983.
Her story reminds us that across faiths and cultures, we are stronger when we stand together.

The Abraham Accords opened the door to a new generation of peace.
Built not only on trade, investment, innovation, and tourism, but on people, connection, and a shared future.
This is what happens when cooperation replaces conflict.
A different future isn’t just possible, it’s already happening.
Our time in Texas has come to an end, but the work of building a new Middle East rooted in coexistence continues.
Across @txamiu, @UTRGV, @laredopalominos, and local communities in South Texas, we saw the real value of people simply sitting down to talk.
This is at the core of Sharaka: turning honest, face-to-face conversations into lasting bridges.
The tour is over, but the dialogue we started here is just the beginning.

@hayvibouzo was born in Syria.
She says across Arabic-speaking countries, Holocaust denial isn’t fringe. It’s common.
She’s here anyway - marching for the 6 million.
At @txamiu, @utrgv, @laredopalominos, and communities in South Texas, our delegates tackled tough questions on history, identity, and the path to peace.
By moving beyond headlines and into nuanced dialogue, we saw students actively deconstructing old assumptions.
Empowering the next germination with these tools is how we cultivate a future rooted in coexistence.

Today, alongside Jewish communities around the world, I walk in the #MarchOfTheLiving — from Auschwitz to Birkenau — to honor the 6 million souls lost in the Holocaust. Many thanks to the @sharakango team.
@pink_tarbouche is from Morocco 🇲🇦 and came to Poland to honor the Holocaust. Think about what that takes. Think about what that means.
This is the alliance the world needs more of.
Twenty Two participants. Six Middle Eastern countries. One shared mission.
Yesterday marked Day 1 of our journey. We began in Kazimierz, retracing the history of a community in Krakow that was nearly extinguished. Visiting the Alte, Remu, and Tempel Synagogues and the Miodowa cemetery, we tried to imagine the vibrance of Jewish life before the Holocaust.
The focus of our first day was simple but heavy. We spoke about the importance of not only remembering history but acknowledging its impact on our world today. As this delegation joins the March of the Living, we are proving that the path forward starts by choosing to remember together.

On #YomHaShoah, we honor the 6 millions lives lost and the survivors 🕯️
Sharaka is the leading NGO bringing together diverse Muslim voices from across the Middle East to confront historical truth and build a shared future.
Because #NeverAgain requires action, not just silence, we educate today to ensure the past never repeats.
Reflecting on a week in Texas and a lifetime of impact 🤝
We continued our mission to build a new Middle East through dialogue, speaking to communities at @txamiu, @utrgv, @laredopalominos, and @tecmileniomx.
The value of these campus visits isn't just in the speeches, it’s in proving that even half a world away, education is the ultimate bridge to coexistence.
Real change happens when we choose conversation over assumptions.

Last month we brought conversations on connections and coexistence to South Texas.
We are grateful for organizations like Band One, who see the importance of building bridges across communities and opening up space for meaning dialogue.

History isn't just found in books; it’s found in the trust between neighbors 🍯🇲🇦
For 2,000 years, Mimouna has been a story of coexistence. During Passover, Muslim neighbors would safeguard the flour, returning it the night Mimouna begins as a gift of sweetness to break the holiday.
Trebḥu utse’adu! May you be blessed with success and happiness.
