Lutheran High School is excited to announce the hiring of Kevin Kuehl as Assistant Principal for the 2025-2026 school year. With 29 years of experience in education, Kevin brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and a deep passion for student growth and success. His dedication to his Christian faith make him a perfect fit for our mission to Grow and Serve in Christ.

Kevin is retiring from public education at the end of this school year after serving as an assistant principal in the Wentzville School District since 2003. Throughout his career, he has been a teacher, coach, and administrator, always striving to create an excellent school environment where students thrive academically and socially. His leadership experience includes serving as Assistant Principal at Frontier Middle School and Wentzville South Middle School, as well as teaching and coaching at Hazelwood West High and Junior High School.

Beyond his career in education, Kevin finds joy in his faith, family, and the relationships built through coaching and mentoring students. Kevin and his wife, Shara, met in the halls of Hazelwood West and have been happily married for 23 years. They are blessed with three wonderful children: Kaden, who is proudly serving in the U.S. Navy; Avery, who is beginning her first year at Mizzou; and Bennett, who is finishing middle school and enjoys playing volleyball. Their family also includes two dogs—Harley and Ollie.

As an administrator, Kevin enjoys being involved in the daily life of a school, ensuring that students can learn and teachers can teach in a structured and supportive environment. As a teacher, he calls his class “Super Social Studies”, bringing history and geography to life with enthusiasm and engagement. His goal is to inspire students to love learning as much as he does. As a coach, Kevin has a deep love for football—the process, the struggle, and the invaluable life lessons learned along the way. As a former youth football coach, he emphasized the guiding principles of Faith, Family, and Football—in that order.
