6 years of trying to manage an addictions charity through this period was a farce. People helped a year over 350 people = funders arguing if we were classified a treatment or not. Where is the money? genuine question 🤷♀️
Five years, £250 million and five Ministers later, Scotland’s so-called “National Mission on Drug Deaths” has achieved the rare distinction of failing in every measurable way while still congratulating itself on “progress”. It ends not with results but with excuses a bureaucratic wake where everyone gives a eulogy for the corpse they helped create.
The experts blame the politicians, the politicians blame the system, and the system continues to pay itself handsomely while people die. Scotland’s moral capital has collapsed alongside its fiscal one. I will do a full commentary on this ASAP.
THE HIGHEST NOTED VIBRATION IS AUTHENTICITY.
It vibrates even higher than love. Imagine that—love is not the highest vibrational force. Truth is.
When you're authentic, you're radiating a frequency of pure truth. You're not holding back any part of yourself. This creates a profound sense of clarity and perfect alignment within you.
Truth is a frequency. It resonates.
Truth can come from anywhere—there is nothing that does not carry its own spark of truth. Because without that spark, nothing can exist. Not even falseness.
Therefore, the wise person is the one who knows how to learn truth from every person and discover the truth of each thing.
We must open ourselves to a higher reality, to see the spirit within the matter, to raise our consciousness until our entire perception of reality is transformed... and the divine within all creation is finally revealed.

The same people gather, celebrating each other’s “expertise” and polishing reports that never touch the ground. Detached from the frontline. Detached from families in crisis. Detached from reality.
An industry of optics, about careers, influence & opinions rather than solutions🥴
“Don’t tell me people are apathetic. They are not apathetic. They are alienated. When nothing on the ballot speaks your language, when no one in the chamber knows your struggle, staying home is not apathy. It is common sense.”
That’s from a speech I gave this week at the John Smith Centre.
If Holyrood has lost its soul, it’s up to us to put it back.

Trauma is everywhere, due to the difficult nature of life. We don’t have a ‘mental health crisis’, we have a crisis of ignoring trauma and distress.
We cannot and will not make any progress until this is fully realised.
I believed in the promise of Holyrood—of a Scotland that listens, leads with compassion and does things differently. But after watching the committee session on the Right to Recovery Bill, I am honestly struggling to hold onto that hope.
Later that day, the same Parliament passed Stage 1 of the Assisted Dying Bill. Help to die—yes.
Help to recover? Laughed out the room.
What kind of message is that?
Watching @AnneMarieWard face down that committee was emotional. The strength it takes to stay composed while being undermined, interrupted and dismissed—it shouldn’t be required, but she delivered it with fire and grace. That’s what leadership looks like #RightToRecovery
@Annemarieward, CEO of FavorUK giving evidence to the Health Committee on the Right To Recovery Bill
"Let me be clear: the people calling this bill a distraction are the same people who’ve failed to provide access, transparency, or choice for years. They are not neutral—they're financially and institutionally invested in avoiding scrutiny. In our advocacy work with up to 120 clients, not one had heard of the so-called MAT standards, and none had ever seen a care plan until we got involved. We had to fight every step of the way to get them the care they deserved.
This bill isn’t a distraction—it’s a real mechanism for accountability that could transform Scotland’s treatment system. The real question isn’t whether the bill is too ambitious. It’s how much longer we’re going to prioritise institutional comfort over people’s lives. This bill doesn’t disrupt recovery—it disrupts bureaucracy. And that’s exactly the disruption we need"

Read every article on Scottish prisons this week.
Not one mention of the incredible work led by lived experience recovery orgs.
No peer support. No coaching. No community.
We’re not a side note — we’re the solution.
