Just left the funeral of a friend that took his own life this week. He was one of the nicest, kindest, most selfless people ever always helping others. He would do anything to make someone smile that needed it so it made me think of one of my favorite quotes from the late Robin Williams.
"I think the saddest people always try their hardest to make people happy because they know what it's like to feel absolutely worthless and they don't want anyone else to feel like that."

This pathetic person hides its staggering incompetence by endless claims of victimhood. It’s never their fault, it’s always ‘the others’. Can’t fix a pool? It’s a conspiracy!
America, he’s not the victim. We are. Of his incompetence & our choices. So reject this pathetic person
Dear @DHSgov: Did you know our starting forward is a US citizen through birthright citizenship? You’re trying to strip away that right.
Did you know an additional 6 Team USA players were born outside US soil?
Did you know half the team are dual citizens?
Also, Happy Juneteenth
This person is delusional and bent.
A serious country doesn’t put this conspiracy addict and grifter as secretary of a book club let alone Secretary of Health & Human Services.
@DHSgov Defend the homeland? Millions of Americans who weren’t born on U.S. soil have helped do exactly that.
Look at our national soccer team: many players were either born abroad or are the children of immigrants. They wear the same jersey, sing the same anthem, and fight for the same flag.
Immigration is not a war against America. It’s one of America’s greatest strengths. The goal isn’t to fear people who come here—it’s to help them become part of the team.
Football should remind us that the United States is strongest when we play together. 🇺🇸⚽️
Fauci spent his life, decades, saving lives; you on the other hand, in just a few months in government helped ended 100s of thousands of lives around the world and some estimates suggest the death toll could be in the millions. Not sure how you sleep at night.
#OnThisDay in 1865, General Gordon Granger arrived in Galveston, TX to read Order No. 3, which affirmed the end of slavery in the states of the former Confederacy. This momentous occasion became known as #Juneteenth, a combination of “June” & “19th." More: https://t.co/bitoMm27sm
What are we even doing as a country?
This is the state of American “journalism.”
Biden isn’t president. He wasn’t dazed. He wasn’t lost.
He was looking into the crowd after asking where his granddaughter was.
But the headline was already written, because the narrative matters more than the truth.
Millions will see it, never watch the clip, and believe the lie.
That’s not reporting.
That’s propaganda for people too lazy to think.
I know many of us didn’t agree with all of their policies, but one thing I can say is that they understood the responsibility that came with the office. They treated people like human beings, communicated with a level of respect, and didn’t feel the need to constantly demean others to make themselves look better.
They also understood how to speak to the public. Whether you agreed with them or not, they could give a speech, stay on topic, articulate their message clearly, and conduct themselves in a manner that reflected the seriousness of the presidency.
Leadership isn’t about insults, personal attacks, or turning every disagreement into a spectacle. It’s about respect, discipline, and the ability to communicate effectively with the people you’re supposed to serve.
You don’t have to agree with someone’s politics to recognize the difference between leadership and chaos.
We all have a choice to be hopeful. Voting is a choice. Being a decent human being is a choice. We all have a choice to bring about the country we want. We all have the power. America has been a force for good. Yes, we have made mistakes, but we can and should learn from our history. We can walk forward into the future, embracing a better future, one that is for all of us, not just some of us. We can be a force for good, a force of hope. Thank you, @michelleobama and @barackobama for these beautiful words today, and congratulations on the opening of the magnificent @obamalibrary.
