To celebrate the debut of our collab with Familia Skateboard shop, PK built skateboards with the students of FAIR School for the Arts in downtown Minneapolis and found them a new place to skate
Thank you Ethan, @ryantanke, Coach Finch, & the team for an electric playoff run and amazing season. You’ve inspired downtown & our entire city. Your dedication, perseverance, and teamwork reminds us all of the power of sports to bring people together. @Timberwolves@MplsDowntown
I know our @Timberwolves are going to bounce back with our fans and city behind them!
Grateful for our partnership with the team, @MplsChamber, @CityMinneapolis and all of our downtown businesses and organizations who have stepped up in the last few weeks. #Wolvesback
@alexschief I'm not active on here but I do read the email digests, so I just happened to see that you tagged me on this, Alex - minor miracle. I bike by here every day but I had missed this fencing - happy to discuss this with you if you like.
@rhett_carlson@MplsDID Shoot, Rhett! I'm not active on here anymore, sorry about that. We're building this program with the City to address this lack of clarity: https://t.co/QmV0P2Mesu
Please reach out via phone/email for any follow-up.
@alexschief@h_pan3 I'm breaking my Twitter silence to say - I don't know! But I think that the Gateway Ramp is still owned by Alatus to serve the apartment building next door. Even if MT left I'm not sure if the owners would be open to redevelop Gateway.
We’re working to secure ownership of the Prior Works building, home to BlackStack, Can Can Wonderland, and many more St Paul biz & nonprofits, opening up a $1 million opportunity for community members to own a piece of their neighborhood! (A thread)
If you build it, they will come.
The Bryant Ave bikeway isn’t even open yet (street closed signs at the end of each block) but on a random weeknight every block had users - on motorized wheelchairs, on bikes, and very young kids. More of this everywhere @CityMinneapolis!
