#GLR - Galileo Resources

1. Technically: this looks like the first proper attempt to break out of a base after a long down/sideways stretch, backed by better volume and improving momentum.

2. Risk: price is only just challenging the longer‑term moving averages, so it’s still in the “test of trend change” zone; a pullback to retest the breakout level or 50‑day MA would be normal

3. Fundamentally: The #Zambia Molefe JV with #JLP is due a presentation this week. An investor is looking to come on board with a ring-fenced $1.5m initial investment, with follow on potential of an additional $10.0m investment focused on #Molefe. News on other assets in the portfolio is not yet coming through to shareholders. Note: #GLR is set to own 23.75% of the Molefe asset - awaiting announcement.

Sniffing around the industry top and bottom, it looks to me that M&A activity is beginning to get some inertia. Appears to me the majors are recognising home-grown production is unlikely to happen in the mid-term and could be 10-15 years away.
