10 Ways to Support Authors

Authors pour their hearts and souls into their books, and your support means the world to them! Here are 10 ways to show some author love:

1. Word-of-mouth recommendations are still the BEST!
2. Write an honest and thoughtful review. Then copy and paste it to retail websites.
3. Subscribe to their newsletter and encourage your friends to do the same.
4. On Goodreads, add their new and backlist books to your Want to Read shelf, update your reading progress, share quotes, leave reviews, and vote their titles onto relevant Listopia Book Lists.
5. Actively follow them on social media by liking, commenting, and sharing their posts.
6. Suggest their books to your local library and/or book club.
7. Pass it on! Give your copy to a friend or donate it to a Little Free Library.
8. Visit their website and pin the cover of their book(s) to a bookish Pinterest board.
9. Post a selfie (you + book) or bookstagram-style photo on Instagram.
10. Pre-order their next book.
