Sadly, this lesson is as relevant today as it was when first presented. Please listen and answer her question at the end of the video. Hopefully your answer helps you determine the scope of your advocacy. You don't have to share your answer. Your actions will speak for you.
@KwikWarren@rolandsmartin 4/4 Failing to plan, public bombastic threats & midnight musings put the operation at greater risks than anything else.
If you want to discuss personal attacks on active military, I can share first-hand accounts from serving during Vietnam; where truth overrides sir stories.
@KwikWarren@rolandsmartin 3/ Press hurt feelings appears to be projection on their part, as they need to create an us vs. them scenario, to distract from their failures.
As a wartime contingency planner during the first Gulf War, reports are always challenging. Remember Scud missiles?
@RoxaneLGibson1@jgindel No, Joe Walsh isn't the leader most of us have been awaiting. We're the leaders we need. We're the ones who will organize, protest, donate, educate communities, and vote.
GOP alignment with democratic ideals is good. They're best suited to reach former colleagues and friends.
@cantgoback69@RickPetree I'm so sorry for your mother's traumatic injuries. My thanks for your family's service and sacrifice.
Having served more than 25 years in the Air Force, I witnessed many injuries that weren't what we consider combat related. However, they all mattered and deserve our gratitude.
Individuals challenging thousands of voters "just because" is classic voter suppression, and it's a mark against our humanity.
CJ Roberts' 2013 Shelby decision gutted the Voting Rights Act. We have fewer voting rights now than in 1965!
Shame on him and all who won't fight back!

@HellBentVet Hi Hb, No worries. There is always someone reading and listening. Have a good night and a good morning.
Be well and take care of yourself. You matter to many of us.
@1Firstfruit@somethingwithin Sadly, there’re days I say I'll understand it better bye-n-bye. Reality is I understand it all too well. Historical solicitousness for certain women’s tears, whether used to threaten; excuse behavior or be a victim is tiring.
Which women are allowed to be emotional?
Who decides?
@RevDaniel Highly recommend, Listening for God, A Minister's Journey Through Silence and Doubt, by Renita J. Weems.
The book is a sincere and meaningful resource for anyone in the midst of or on the other side of struggling with their faith. @somethingwithin
@garymillerca1 Gary, I'm so sorry for the loss of your dear brother. Cancer is such an insidious disease.
Losing your sibling is so hard. I join you in praying for his eternal peace. I also pray for you to one day find joy again in memories the two of you shared.
Take good care of yourself.
@MollyJongFast Recall Emmer's tweet, firing a semi-automatic rifle, saying he "enjoyed exercising my Second Amendment rights" during a visit to Arizona with a hashtag "fire [Nancy] Pelosi." Posted two days before Paul Pelosi was attacked.
Remember their stance on justice & women's rights. /FIN
@MollyJongFast While Emmer and Scott voted to certify the 2020 election for President Biden, we must remember the fact that both signed on to the Texas amicus brief to SCOTUS seeking to overturn election results in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan and Wisconsin. 1/
@barryfriedman1@ScottHech Thus, Mississippi succeeds! The terrible and unconstitutional practice is working.
Denying legal representation is very much in keeping with Mississippi's history. This is a modern version of using "Black Codes" to ensure a steady supply of African-Americans are incarcerated.
@RogerWallaceTX @AlsoWonderWoman @sfpelosi@BrianKarem I don't block for open discussion. I also don't go back and forth when I've said what I said.
I'm an attorney with over twenty years of experience with estate planning and elder law clients.
I love what I do. I like to help people understand the law before they have problems.
@RogerWallaceTX @AlsoWonderWoman @sfpelosi@BrianKarem Response still inaccurate. POAs needed prior to a person's incapacitation.
1. Assist in long-distance care for parents with capacity. POA used to speak with doctors for updates.
2. Child in college. POA used to speak with fin aid lender or health insurer.
Not complicated.
