@HTheijsmeijer @Jojame40 @LisaCorbett0261 @_ms_diamond_ @MrSurti love the " not" section, I think some may be surprised #themathpod

[Shari Kingston @sharikingston]

@HTheijsmeijer @Jojame40 @LisaCorbett0261 @_ms_diamond_ I agree, people will definitely have some ah ha's as they explore the 7 to 10 expectations, such a rich task for Ts #themathpod

[Shari Kingston @sharikingston]

Thanks to everyone who has been a part of my learning community! You've all pushed my thinking! #themathpod

[Shari Kingston @sharikingston]

@HTheijsmeijer @MrKirschnick Yes, I'd like to dig into those as a self reflection piece for myself. #themathpod

[Shari Kingston @sharikingston]

A5) Learners need to develop their own understandings within a community of learners, whether it's Ss w/math or educators w/PD. #themathpod

[Shari Kingston @sharikingston]

A4) Through listening to others, we can make deeper connections to our own understanding. #themathpod

[Shari Kingston @sharikingston]

@HTheijsmeijer @MrKirschnick Focus on the intention behind the practice, why do we want to do it? Is there a purpose, maybe it can make sense at times? #themathpod

[Shari Kingston @sharikingston]

A3) I think the opportunity to experience the need to use the strategies. Carefully crafted contexts.. #themathpod

[Shari Kingston @sharikingston]

@HTheijsmeijer Yes, a new mindset for some Ss, but so powerful when peers support each other. #themathpod

[Shari Kingston @sharikingston]

A2) I think the strength of the community is key here. And the ability to notice, name and nudge the thinking. #themathpod

[Shari Kingston @sharikingston]

@HTheijsmeijer @KMTeach6 When we try we learn! #themathpod

[Shari Kingston @sharikingston]

I see the purpose of a string is to "expose" a strategy. No wonder they need to be crafted so carefully! #themathpod

[Shari Kingston @sharikingston]

Fav number is 7. No idea why, just always has been. #themathpod

[Shari Kingston @sharikingston]

Thanks to all, great learning! #themathpod

[Shari Kingston @sharikingston]

The unit is a vehicle to support the development, the learning doesn’t end when the unit does. #themathpod

[Shari Kingston @sharikingston]

A bit of an example of the two pen assessment. #themathpod

[Shari Kingston @sharikingston]

Best strategy for Ts to start? Strings first and later jump in to the units? Or, just go for it,units and all? #themathpod

[Shari Kingston @sharikingston]

Ss asking, "Can we do a string?" Love this! #themathpod

[Shari Kingston @sharikingston]

Thanks for hosting Ve, great job! #themathpod

[Shari Kingston @sharikingston]

@MsKMarshall And often their questions will lead to even deeper learning that wasn't necessarily anticipated. That's always a good day! #themathpod
