@JacobsBen It's obviously not mistaken identity. If they want to have a way for VAR to check for dives I don't hate it as long as there is zero contact like this case, because it can't get subjective.
Honestly though, feels like an unnecessary VAR overreach to me.
@TheNotoriousMMA Karma's a bitch you rapist scum. I hope you suffer immensely for all the harm you have caused, and we will see if you are strong enough to recover and make amends or if you are still the weak despicable man you were.
@TunawithaCh That's what you did with Isak and look where that got you. You missed out on your number 1 target Ekitike, missed out many others. When you eventually got your extra 5 million you were forced to massively overpayment for Wissa and Woltemade. 70 million would be fair value.
@EduardoHagn I think there's enough minutes for all of them next season tbh. And Rogers can play centrally as a Gabi Jesus replacement, so can Merino. It's about profiles and versatility now.
@jonnymelamet@Redcanon12 Tapping up mid season and tapping up in the summer transfer window are two very different things. And the second has been normal in football for years and years now.
@One_Der0@Godshols@PurplePanel He's been injury prone af so far in his career. Quality player but I'd rather Bruno. Proven in the league and brings instant quality different to any other player we have.
@CraigIrvine93 This is the first Newcastle opinion I've heard on this topic that I've agreed with.
I would take the 70 million (you won't get more for him with 1 year left on his contract and a year older), reinvest it and look to the future.
@SwedeStats It's odegaard's job to get on the ball and look after it when he does. Every time he had it he looked panicked and gave it away. How does the manager have anything to do with that?
@mymangirl The team has learnt to operate without him. Before his injuries we were reliant on his manic pressing, but now we are just as structured and controlled out of possession without it. For that reason I believe it is the right time to sell him. He doesn't have the quality required.
@hovie_09 Saka and Havertz probably won't be on the pitch at that point so our takers would be:
Odegaard or Eze, Gyokeres, Zubi, Rice, Martinelli
That's 5/5 for me.
@afcmuktar Anderson of course is the best player but he's too expensive. I think Alex Scott is the best option and value for money for the squad role we need.
