Wanted to say something for longtime Sharks fans who currently live in the Bay Area:
There's (clearly) already starting to be a lot more people who are getting into this team lately, or getting into the sport for the first time, or getting back to their hockey fandom. It's awesome.
Please let them in the door. Help them learn the game & rules & team history & all the fun stuff that we all know: Cow Palace, Jumbo Slide, Pavelski Payback... all of it. Be an ambassador.
There's no reason to gatekeep. The sport could see another huge growth spurt in NorCal corresponding with a next era of Sharks success. Let's make that a legacy.
DID YOU KNOW? The solid white line on the right side of the roadway is called the “fog line.” It helps motorists driving under foggy conditions. When the fog is impeding visibility, use the fog line to keep you on track and on the highway. Stay on the right side when is foggy.
It is with great sadness that we announce that San Francisco Giants Legend and Hall of Famer Willie Mays passed away peacefully this afternoon at the age of 93.
The @SFGiants are the only MLB team in the modern era to trail by 4+ runs in the 6th inning or later in 3 straight games, all on the road, and come back to win all 3.
Since RBI became an official stat in 1920, only one MLB player (of any age) has driven in at least 5 baserunners in back-to-back games (excluding the RBI credited to a player for driving in himself on a homer).
That one player is the @SFGiants' Luis Matos the last 2 days.
