भारत सरकार के संचार मंत्रालय के डिपार्टमेंट ऑफ पोस्ट द्वारा 3 अक्टूबर 2023 के पत्र के माध्यम से विभाग के सभी डाक परिमंडलों को सूचित किया है कि सक्षम प्राधिकारी द्वारा यह निर्णय लिया गया है कि गंगाजल की बोतल का मूल्य 35 रू (18 प्रतिशत जी.एस.टी. सहित) निर्धारित किया जाता है।" गंगाजल की जिन बोतलों पर पूर्व से मूल्य प्रिन्टेड है उनमें “जी.एस.टी. सहित" की स्टैम्प लगा दी जाये। (संलग्न -1)

इसके बाद डाक विभाग (इंडिया पोस्ट) द्वारा उसकी वेबसाइट में उक्त निर्देश के पालन में 18 प्रतिशत जी.एस.टी. सहित की स्टैम्प भी लगा दी गयी। (संलग्न-2)

डाक विभाग के इस निर्णय का जब कांग्रेस द्वारा बड़ा विरोध आरंभ किया गया तब घबराकर भारत सरकार के जी.एस.टी. विभाग द्वारा झूठी सफाई जारी की गयी की पूजा सामग्री पर आरंभ से ही जी.एस.टी. नहीं लगाया गया है। सत्य तो यह है कि जी.एस.टी. विभाग की पूजा सामग्री की सूची में गंगाजल शामिल ही नहीं है। (संलग्न -3)

इसके पश्चात् डाक विभाग द्वारा गंगाजल पर 18 प्रतिशत जी.एस.टी. लगाये जाने के निर्णय को दिनांक 12 अक्टूबर 2023 को वापस लेते हुये गंगाजल का मूल्य फिर से 30 रू करने का आदेश जारी किया गया। (संलग्न -4)

इंडिया पोस्ट की वेबसाइट में भी तदनुसार संशोधन कर दिया गया। (संलग्न-5)

2022 तक गंगाजल को निर्मल बनाने का झूठा दावा करने वाले एक बार फिर पवित्र गंगाजल को लेकर बेनकाब हो गये हैं। गंगा मैया के श्राप की कीमत तो भाजपाइयों को चुकानी ही होगी ।

About the new illegal & draconian censorship by Manipur Govt

3 days ago, Manipur Govt issued an order banning the people of the state from sharing videos or images of the violence online. The circular also threatened criminal action for doing so.

This is clearly yet another attempt by the BJP Govt in Manipur to hide the atrocities happening in the state & their own inaction. They don't want the rest of India to know how Manipur is burning and want the circle of violence to keep going on.

BJP & Modi Govt want the country's attention to be on Israel so that the reality of Manipur burning can be quietly buried.

I've written to Manipur's Commissioner (Home) asking to clarify the grounds of this brazenly illegal circular.
