Ever since Modi became PM, the simple act of receiving a BOOK sent by an overseas publisher for REVIEW has become a fraught process with the Customs authorities not allowing international courier companies to deliver books without cataloguing a full KYC from the recipient.

Today @DTDCIndia called me and asked for a gas or electricity bill for our office address in order to deliver a book from @WileyGlobal and when I said this was a rented property he said perhaps I could get a copy of the bill from our landlord! And this kind of nonsense happens all the time.
