1. Build a strong personal brand to showcase your skills and expertise your industry.

2. Network: Attend virtual and physical industry events, conferences, and seminars to connect with other professionals and build relationships in the industry. Don't forget about sharing this on your digital spaces.

3. Seek mentorship: Find mentors who can guide and support you in your career development.

4. Learn new skills: Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry and learn new skills to stay relevant.

5. Build an online portfolio of your work and showcase your projects and accomplishments to potential employers.

6. Take on leadership roles: Volunteer for leadership roles in tech organizations or take on leadership roles in your workplace.

7. Speak at events and community conversations. You have to be your first cheerleader. Reach out to people who organise events to host you as a speaker to share knowledge and expertise.

8. Write articles or blog posts about topics related to the tech industry to establish yourself as a thought leader.

9. Seek out diverse opportunities: Look for opportunities to work on diverse projects or in different areas of the industry.

10. Be resilient: The tech industry can be competitive and challenging, but resilience and perseverance are key to success.

11. Be confident: Believe in your skills and abilities and be confident in your contributions to the industry.

12. Be collaborative: Collaborate with others in the industry and be willing to share your knowledge and expertise.

13. Focus on your strengths: Identify your strengths and focus on developing those skills to stand out in the industry.

14. Stay positive: Stay positive and maintain a positive attitude even in the face of challenges or setbacks.

15. Advocate for diversity and inclusion in the industry and be a role model for others.
