Some 8th grade girls took a trip to UCONN Storrs to participate in the Multiply Your Options workshops. The program is about exposing students to female role models in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and math.
Today K-4 students had the privilege of meeting Ellie, a working dog for the DEEP. She showed them her search and recovery skills and got students thinking about the many career choices there are involving helping others and working with animals. What an awesome morning!
