‘RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW, MAG RESIGN AKO’
Senator Ronald "Bato" Dela Rosa says he would “resign” if Senator Joel Villanueva were found to be involved in the anomalous flood control projects, asserting that Villanueva would have rejected the budget assistance had he known it was sourced from flood control funds.
According to former DPWH official Henry Alcantara, Villanueva requested funding for a multipurpose building project in 2022. He was later given unprogrammed appropriations in 2023 amounting to P600 million, all of which were flood control projects.

We work hard to support our families. We struggle every day to make ends meet - may pagkain sa mesa, may bubong over our heads. Babaluktot pag maikli ang kumot. Magtitiis. Igagapang ang mga bata to send them to the best schools possible. Bawal magkasakit.
Ang hirap hirap hirap maging Filipino.
And then we realize.
Hindi naman pala dapat. Life as a Filipino shouldn’t have been this hard.
We’re just being robbed by the very people who are supposed to help make our life better.

Sen. Jinggoy Estrada believes he is the "most vulnerable" target among senators to being implicated in corruption, stressing it was "unfair" to connect his "past issues" to the accusation he is facing now.
