It will never not be funny to me that there is a sect of humanity so afraid of parts of speech that they’re upset by pronouns. What do adverbs do to these people? Or, Gd forbid, a participle?!

@dlward I totally agree. This is one of my pet peeves. “I would have slapped them senseless,” or other thing they actually would not have done. Except they say “would of” instead of “would have,” so double peeve. Hang in there, Dani. Hugs.
