Senator Cruz, you, sir, are despicable. You clearly do not come close to understanding the basic concept of postpartum psychosis. Quite frankly, that is not surprising. But your comments denigrating the jury in this case are ignorant and are patently rage bait for your voting base.

Your comment that this young woman, who reached out repeatedly for help in the depths of postpartum depression leading to mania and psychosis, is a monster is reprehensible. You obviously do not know the first thing about mental health or the woeful state of medical and psychiatric care in our country. Instead of making a rational observation, you call for her execution.

You are, as I said, despicable. Any time you would like to debate this issue of significant importance to our country, you know where to find me.
