@wightlinkferry Please make your meal deal inclusive of gluten free snacks 🤞🏻 I just bought a drink and gf toasty but was told I couldn’t have a gf snack to go with it 🤷♀️
This is devastating. Please share. Anthony is a lovely man who used to work on the MoneySavingExpert deals team before leaving to pursue his valiant passion to get into teaching. I hope and pray he's OK. Please please spread word.
Thanks to everyone who watched last night. Here’s a few comments from the promo vids that have been released from my documentary about homophobia in football. Just thought I’d highlight the reason why I was asked to front this show. Case closed. I’ve blurred the usernames as to not encourage the same behaviour towards them
Thanks for all your great comments, and thanks to everyone involved in making the show x

There really is something about that ferry journey & it’ll be even more worry free if you’re coming to see us @terraceventnor for two nights in Jan/feb because we will pay for it 🥳🥳🥳
“I asked myself.” ❤️
You’ve probably seen this amazing video of little Willa, which has been shared far and wide on social media since its original posting in 2019.
I could write 10 different posts about the reasons I love it (#HomeyDepot), but today I want to spotlight what I consider it’s most important lesson of all: the emergence of AGENCY.
In the world of child development (and psychology more broadly), “agency” refers to control over one’s own actions. It’s the ability to make choices that reflect our personal needs and desires.
Agency is key to both children’s emerging independence and long term success.
And boy does Willa have it in spades.
Asked whom she asked permission to apply lipstick (yip-ick) in the bathroom, she explains with confidence that:
1The lipstick is hers,
2She asked herself, and
3That she likes the way it looks, thank you very much.
It’s not just that she’s made these choices on her own. It’s the way they fill her with pride.
She is her own person.
As a parent, you can support your child’s healthy agency from an early age by presenting reasonable choices and allowing them to select and act on their preferences. Sometimes this will also entail dealing with the natural consequences of our actions… which can be a critical lesson for children and adults alike.
Independent little Willa was originally shared to FB and IG by her father, PeterSowell.
@JSauveFS@VisitIOW Can’t help with Glamping as we have a holiday annexe in Ventnor (near the Terrace and Spyglass!) You will all love what the IOW has to offer though. 😎 Enjoy your holiday.
@EaterWriter I was one of the lucky people last night. Stunning food, the gnocchi was out of this world 👍🏼 The Terrace is a great asset to Ventnor, make sure you pay them a visit. Well done to Tom, Ashley and their fab team 🥳
One of the most sensible takes on ‘cancel culture’ I’ve seen. Sensible, honest, smart. I’m posting the video directly as Times Radio tweeted it with a clickbait and somewhat misleading headline that unintentionally confirmed his point. More of this please.
