One of the coolest moments of my broadcast career in this game. Actually two of the coolest moments. Listen to this if you missed it on Friday!

Columbus Catholic Rugby state champs!! @ColumbusSailors huge congrats!!

[Sharon Gallen @sharonsgallen]

Congrats Julie & Hailee on 100 wins! Thank you for all you both do. It has been wonderful getting to know you and to see the passion you have. You’re investment in each player to ensure they have the best experience possible is undeniable. We’re going to miss y’all 💚💛💚

Really not sure tonight could of turned out better. Senior Night for 7 of these amazing young ladies and Coach Julie secures 100th Win! Definitely a memory that will be with this program forever!

[Taylor Nitz @taylorfromKWAY]

On top of all that that is win #100 for head coach Julie Girsch!

[Taylor Nitz @taylorfromKWAY]

At the first half drink break Sailors lead 2-0. Nikayla Youngblut has one goal. The other is a remarkable story. Katelyn Blair suffered a career-ending injury in 2019. She’s been the manager since. Her parents let her start tonight on Senior Night and she scores off a corner!

[The Shipyard @CBUS_Activities]

Congratulations to @cbusgirlssoccer Coach Girsch on her 💯 career win!

Senior Katelyn B. scored twice during her first action of the season and the Sailors prevailed over AP, 8-1, for a Senior Night victory.
