Westmeath County Council’s Severe Weather Assessment Team is in attendance at the control centre established in the Council Chamber in Mullingar. The team has received over 100 reports of incidents of storm damage including fallen trees, slates off roofs, electrical wires brought down and other damage to private and public property. The team is grateful to those who have contacted us so far. An outline of the areas that have been reported to us so far is as follows:
