@Skint_Eastwood1 "And they want to reach the UK because of what waits for them.."

@LloydsBank I think the point we're making is why should your customers have to do the work of contacting companies we may not even remember setting payments up with using MasterCard? You've also impacted the companies that aren't being paid because you switched for no customer benefit.
@LloydsBank The policy was being paid for with a monthly demand on my MasterCard. I was sent a letter advising me that the policy would be cancelled unless I changed card details.
@LloydsBank@mrs_harket I agree. A unilateral decision by the bank has created unwanted work for its customers and offers no benefit to them. I've had an insurance policy auto-cancelled because the insurer had my MasterCard details and I hadn't remembered. "You'll need to..." is a dreadful response.
@JoeBrownLondon@sciencemuseum A major improvement as Midland journeys to London no longer had to go via the Bedford/Hitchin line then on to Kings Cross on a major (and often obstructive!) competitor's line.
The beautiful coat of arms features symbols from the counties traversed topped by Leicester's wyvern.
@TheMercianNews The 'Three Lions' (heraldically 'Leopards') come from C12th medieval heraldry, originating with the French Plantagenet dynasty. King Henry I used a single lion, a second was added after marrying Adeliza of Louvain, and King Henry II a third after marrying Eleanor of Aquitaine
@frasermatthew@Socket1Sophie@tottielimejuice The suffix 'by' comes from the Viking word býr, which meant a "farmstead," "village," or "settlement". Settlements - now towns and cities - like Derby, Whitby, Grimsby have this suffix and local (not national) laws are by-laws. We have local by-ways and local by-elections.
@rahhead01@mand_brun2 Google: Nina Warhurst reassured viewers that the swelling on her left eyelid was simply a stye. The BBC News presenter explained she had been advised by her local pharmacist to keep the eye makeup-free while it healed, which resulted in an asymmetrical appearance on air.
@DavidRidde12963@KayBurley It's £5 + subscription to TNT £?? and if you want to watch all your team's games it's +++ Sky subs Premier sports etc. Can't justify the ££ as not interested in most of the non-Arsenal games.
@BrianTaylor5580@PeterStefanovi2 Quite the opposite! In Matthew 5:38-48, Jesus tells followers not to retaliate with "an eye for an eye" but to respond to evil with love, mercy, and turning the other cheek, extending grace beyond strict justice to show God's perfect love.
