“How Discover Works” is a bold statement given the current state of Discover, and truthfully I’m disappointed in the lack of transparency here.
This feels more like a reworded version of the previous Discover blog post with an added section about thumbnails.
It’s time to address the instability creators have been dealing with lately, the lack of meaningful genre and tag-driven browsing, and the inconsistency in how rows are populated when placement often appears disconnected from the metrics being discussed.
For example, creators were told Epic Picks would maintain placement in Homebar, yet since that statement from @FNCreate, the row has repeatedly broken or failed to display anything at all.
At some point, recurring issues stop feeling like isolated bugs and start feeling like a lack of reliability in the system itself.
I’ve tried to give grace and trust that these were growing pains that would improve over time, but the instability is becoming more frequent, not less.
Right now, creator morale is extremely low, players are struggling to discover experiences tailored to their interests, and Browse is far too generic to serve as a meaningful discovery tool when it often surfaces the same content already being pushed through Discover.
Sim. Desde a mudança recente, o Discover do Fortnite tá matando o próprio ecossistema. Incrível nada ser feito… dia após dia eles cavam a própria cova e garantem que nunca chegarão nem perto do Roblox, infelizmente 😓
Honestly, I am disappointed in @FNCreate lately and the overall stability of Discover.
I have tried to trust the process and stay supportive of experimenting with new ideas and systems, but this is starting to become a nightmare for creators trying to maintain visibility and consistency.
