SVCC Bali celebrated the 77th ICCR Foundation Day on 9 April 2026 at the Chancery, featuring alumni testimonials, a Kathak dance, activity highlights, inspiring speeches, alumni interaction, and the announcement of Essay Competition winners.
Consul General Dr. Shashank Vikram met and congratulated the #ITEC awardees Mr. Muhammad Alfiyan Chairi Hakim and Mr. Kristanto Setyo Utomo from from West Nusa Tenggara and East Nusa Tenggara Central Bureau of Statistics, on their selection for the Specialised Programme at C-DAC, Noida, from 8 to 21 April 2026.
Under the ITEC Programme, the Government of India provides fully funded scholarships, demonstrating its commitment to capacity building in partner countries, including Indonesia.

Month long Indian Film Festival by the Consulate General of India in Bali went to West Bali connecting villages of Bali to Indian Films. Held in collab with Singaraja Menonton, the Bioskop India Jalan-Jalan program was successfully conducted at Balai Banjar Berawantangi Taman, Desa Tukadaya, Jembrana Regency.
The event brought together the local community, with around 100 participants attending the screening of Goodbye, directed by Vikash Bahl-creating a warm and lively atmosphere throughout the evening.
With the support of the Pecalang Desa Adat, who actively helped secure the event and manage traffic around the balai banjar, the program ran smoothly and safely. The Sekaa Truna Truni Sila Darma and members of the Komunitas Bali Tersenyum also joined in and helped enliven the event, making it a true community gathering.

“Frames of Reflection: Conference and Festival of Indian Cinema” is being organised from 10–13 March 2026 in Bali by CGI and SVCC Bali. The conference marks the high point of month long celebration of Indian cinema by CGI Bali.
The event commenced with a conference on 10 March 2026 at The Meru Sanur, bringing together cinema personalities, members of the diplomatic corps, trade and business representatives, cultural practitioners, academics, media personnel, and cinema enthusiasts.
The conference featured a panel discussion on “The Evolution of Cinema Industries in India and Indonesia,” exploring opportunities for collaboration between the two film industries. Moderated by Consul General Dr. Shashank Vikram, the panel included three distinguished speakers from Indonesia’s film community: Maria Ekaristi (Founder of Denpasar Documentary Film Festival), Yosep Anggi Noen (Indonesian film director), and Shandy Gasella (Festival Director of Jakarta World Cinema).
Their insights highlighted the dynamic development of cinema in both countries and emphasized the potential for greater cultural exchange, co-production, and creative collaboration between India and Indonesia.

Bali as a strategic hub for Export–Import with India was the thrust of the India–Indonesia Trade, Investment & Development Roundtable held by Consulate General of India, Bali on 12 February 2026 in Sanur, bringing together stakeholders from business, provincial government, chambers and academia to advance bilateral economic cooperation.
The Roundtable was inaugurated with remarks by the Consul General of India in Bali, Dr. Shashank Vikram, he emphasized the growing strategic partnership between India and Indonesia and the importance of regional platforms such as Bali in strengthening export/import, investment, and development linkages.

The ceremony commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag by CG Dr. Shashank Vikram, followed by the national anthem, in the presence of members of the Indian community and Friend of India.
SVCC Bali student I Gusti Ayu Agung Cinta Permata Iswary Savitri, delivered a graceful dance performance on the national song Vande Mataram in connection with the 150th Anniversary of Vande Mataram.
Her performance is a beautiful cultural tribute to India’s patriotic heritage.

बाली स्थित भारत के प्रधान कौंसलावास एवम् स्वामी विवेकानंद सांस्कृतिक केंद्र ने कौंसलावास के मुख्य प्रांगण में विश्व हिन्दी दिवस का आयोजन किया।
कार्यक्रम का आरम्भ सांस्कृतिक केंद्र के निदेशक के स्वागत भाषण के साथ हुआ। तत्पश्चात प्रधान कौंसल डॉ. शशांक विक्रम ने श्रोताओं को संबोधित करते हुए हिंदी की उपयोगिता और उसके राष्ट्रीय और वैश्विक स्तर पर योगदान को रेखांकित किया। इस अवसर पर प्रधान कौंसल ने भारत के माननीय प्रधानमंत्री का विश्व हिंदी दिवस पर संदेश भी पढ़ा।
कार्यक्रम में सांस्कृतिक केंद्र की छात्रा द्वारा हिंदी गीत पर नृत्य प्रस्तुति के साथ स्थानीय कलाकारों तथा कौंसलावास और सांस्कृतिक केंद्र के स्थानीय कर्मचारियों द्वारा हिंदी भाषण एवम हिंदी गीत की मधुर प्रस्तुतियां दी गईं।
कार्यक्रम से पहले प्रधान कौंसल ने सांस्कृतिक केंद्र के प्रांगण में हिंदी दिवस पर आयोजित प्रदशनी का उद्घाटन किया। इस प्रदर्शनी में हिंदी के प्रख्यात लेखकों के चित्र और हिंदी की पुस्तकों को प्रदर्शित किया गया। यह प्रदर्शनी १३ जनवरी तक आम जनता के लिए खुली रहेगी।
कार्यक्रम का समापन धन्यवाद प्रस्ताव और जलपान के साथ हुआ।
