Have you ever heard of the “No Mud, No Lotus” theory?
It says that the lotus flower cannot bloom without mud. The very thing that seems dirty, unwanted, and out of place is what gives the flower life.
Maybe people are the same.
Maybe the heartbreak you wish never happened, the mistakes you can't stop replaying, the loneliness, the disappointments, the seasons that made you question everything aren't just things you survived. Maybe they are the soil from which a wiser, softer, stronger version of you is growing.
We often think healing means erasing the pain, but perhaps healing is learning how to bloom because of it.
After all, no lotus ever apologized for growing from the mud. 🌿✨
