I am on xb1 and got two clubs (Aliens and horror fan) with 7000 plus members and (F1 official community club) with 18000 plus members. and I'm on PS5đâïžđ
Never forget:
@Sony chose to:
đ Ghost its customers for months
đAddress its investors instead of its customers
đSend out emails telling you that you donât own the games you buy
đ(Allegedly) Use bots on social media to stop your backlash
đPay influencers to counteract gamersâ anger
đForce a #PSBlackout
đHave TakeTwoâs CEO tell you that physical discs âdidnât really make senseâ and that games would be all streaming in three years
đStop producing physical discs
đAdvertise a vinyl record player while telling you that physical media was dead
đIntroduce dynamic pricing based on your buying habits
đRemove 550 movies from customer libraries without reimbursement
đSell you digital games without a refund policy
đEnact anti-consumer policies to establish a monopoly
@Playstation doesnât deserve our loyalty. Never forget your anger. They havenât suffered enough. They need humility.
WE ARE THE GAMERS. WE DECIDE THE FUTURE.

Yesterday we learned, thanks to Kotaku who got information from Sony DADC (the facility dedicated to producing discs, that disc production is expecting to decline only 10% rather than by 90%đ
Games already on disc will continued to be produced on disc
What does this mean? It means that:
â Sony is hesitated and unsure
â There is a way back
â It is easy to revert the decision
But what does that require?
â More pressure from fans
â Vote with your voices and wallets
â Buy physical games only
â Make the message crystal clear
Physical media is not just nostalgia, it is:
â Ownership
â No reliance on accounts/regions
â Competitive prices
â Second-hand market and trading
â Preservation
â Collectible value
PLUS, any form of art and entertainment has value in physical presence. You donât take a picture of the Mona Lisa and pretend itâs the real deal, they tried with NFTs and failed miserably.
Aside from that, the ramifications of going fully digital are very dystopian, especially knowing that itâs a stepping stone towards pushing for streaming, which Microsoft already wants to cap by hours and give you the option to buy more.
Which means:
âNo ownership of software
âFuture potential for no hardware
âFull reliance on internet speeds
âLimited monthly streaming
âPaying more for more time
âBeing tied to subscriptions
âProbably less quality output of games
âNo concept of generations or leaps
âPredatory monetization
Thatâs why our voices, together, PlayStation, XBOX and Nintendo players, are quite important.
Show the industry that you are not children that they can lie to and goad onto the next downgrade in gaming
You are customers and you define your rights because you hold the money, and you get to speak your mind and make changes.
YOU DONâT OWE THEM COMPLIANCE
Your money is a NEED for them
But their games are a WANT for you
You hold the power
So use it and fight for your best interest
NO DISC đż NO BUY
NO DISC đż NO BUY isnât just about physical media, but also ownershipđ
â If itâs a rental, than charge rental prices
â If itâs not rental, than you can never revoke the license and are obligated to refund or sustain access
â And that includes physical media, if the game isnât fully on disc, then the same rules apply, it has to be owned and sustained, or else compensated in full
â And we demand preservation of games, and the only guaranteed way to do that is through discs and DRM-free availability unrestricted by platform
DEMAND ethical business practices

THIS is why I still check pawn shops for video games.
Walked into a pawn shop today and walked out with this ENTIRE stack for $65!
And before somebody says, âYeah, but those are just a bunch of cheap gamesâŠâ I went home and actually started checking the current complete-in-box values.
This stack is worth roughly $300+ CIB based on current market prices.
Ghost of YĆtei alone is around $43 CIB right now. Minecraft Story Mode: Complete Adventure on PS3 is around $31.50. Then youâve got God of War Ragnarök, Undisputed, Crime Boss, Dark Alliance, Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate, Spider-Man: Miles Morales and a bunch more adding to the total.
I PAID $65.
This is exactly why I keep telling people: deals are STILL out there. You donât always have to pay eBay prices or chase the expensive games everybody else is chasing. Sometimes you just have to get out there, check the pawn shops, dig through the stacks and ASK FOR A DEAL.
Over $300 worth of games for $65?
Thatâs THE WRIGHT PRICE.
What game are you grabbing FIRST out of this stack?
On this day 25 years ago, @SEGA_OFFICIAL released Shenmue II in Japan! đ„ł
From Wan Chai to Kowloon, and on to Guilin, the second instalment of @@yu_suzuki_jp's masterpiece took players on an epic adventure that raised the stakes of Ryo's quest, deepened the lore of the series, and taught players many important lessons.
Fan favourite characters like Wong, Joy, Xiuying and Ren made the debuts, and Ryo and Shenhua's destinies finally collided.
Happy 25th birthday, old friend. đ
Disk to digital rocks! Able to convert most of my physical library. Thank you so much to @XBOX@jronald@asha_shar One of the best things XBOX has ever done!
Out of all that word salad that Jason Schreier wrote, at the end of the day Microsoft was generous. They could have closed Double Fine, kept the IP's and let another Studio work on the Games. Bloodbaths don't let you walk away with Money, IP's and still a Studio to work in. @IdleSloth84_ #XBOX
UPDATE | XBOX is sending out emails to customers stating 'No Changes to your cloud gaming with XBOX Game Pass'
âAt this time, these changes will only affect new purchases and will not affect your current subscription for the market in which you reside, as long as you are on an auto-recurring plan.â
*For select regions (countries with the email have been send to Australia, Brazil, France, and Germany)
Waiting on Xbox official respond to see what countries are affected.
OKAY⊠NOW THIS IS GETTING INTERESTING. đ
Xboxâs new disc-to-digital program reportedly already supports 800+ physical games.
But THIS is the part I care about:
More than 200 of them are DELISTED games.
This is exactly what I want technology to do for gaming.
Donât make physical games obsolete.
Make owning them MORE useful.
If Xbox keeps expanding this library, this could become one of the best game-preservation features weâve seen from a console manufacturer.
Xbox players can nearly play all rockstar games on Xbox thanks to backwards compatibility.
- GTA
-Max Payne
-Red dead redemption
-Bully
-La.noire
-midight club
-manhunt
-table tennis
It happens on XBOX.
SO WHEN PRICES GO UP, WE PAY MORE⊠BUT WHEN THE MONEY COMES BACK, THEY KEEP IT?
Sony and Microsoft are fighting lawsuits from gamers who want a share of tariff refunds these companies are now receiving.
Sony alone expects roughly $508 MILLION back.
Meanwhile, Playdate refunded its customers.
Legal obligation or not, explain this to me:
Why does the money only ever seem to flow ONE way?
